This chilly weather has me so excited for fall. I’ve been on Pinterest and saving all things with pumpkins, leaves, apples, cinnamon, warm drinks, fireside and flannel. Give me ALL the cozy vibes. I was so busy this summer that I never had the chance to buy flowers for our front porch, so with fall just around the corner, I’m loving the excuse to deck out the house (in reality, just the front porch) in cozy fall goodness. PS: These photos really make me want to paint my front door black! Since our house is a weird grey/purple, that’s probably not the best route to take.

Note to self, I’m going to need A LOT of pumpkins to pull this look off. I’m a little nervous about investing in a bunch of real pumpkins because… squirrels. The one year I put pumpkins on the front porch they were the neighborhood squirrel snack, so we shall see how this goes! I’ll also pick up some various colored mums and maybe a couple of decorative items. I love the DIY welcome mat “Witch, Please.” I might just have to make that, too!
