I’ve gotten a few questions about my business and career path lately, so I figured I would take the time to share more in depth. The simple look at my careers goes something like this: high school > college > entry level job in my field > mid-level job in my field.
When I first started my Instagram account, I had no idea what I was doing. It was frustrating and overwhelming in so many ways. I felt really defeated when comparing myself to other accounts that were much farther along than myself. But, I didn’t let those feelings stop me from pushing on and soaking up knowledge from those who had gone before me.
As 2019 rolls around, many of us entrepreneurs are putting our planning hats on. Content marketing isn’t going anywhere in 2019. I’m living proof. About 30 minutes ago I Googled, found the solution I needed and bought a template. That company never would have made the sale if their webpage didn’t show up on the first page of Google. And how, you might ask, did their content show up on that page? Content marketing.
You can’t sugar coat it. There isn’t anything comfortable about sharing your life on social media (at least at first). It’s awkward. All these fears and doubts creep into your mind, but the best way to get over doing Instagram stories is to DO Instagram stories.
So many of you asked for this post, so I hope it’s helpful as you budget for a home renovation project. Most of the updates in our homes have been low budget, DIY projects that we can accomplish without hiring help, but we are planning a major kitchen remodel.
