I chose a dark spiced palette of black, russet orange, and woody textures. The burlap runner adds a quirky note of informality while simple candlesticks remind us that this is a special meal: a feast of thanks. Even the wine carafe doubles as decor with it’s shapely silhouette.

I love utilizing dried citrus in my holiday decor. It’s so easy to lay a little orange slice on a napkin, but they become a fun attention-grabber for guests. You can find my simple tutorial here.

Of course, the last year has changed the holidays for everyone somewhat. But you can still pull out the candlesticks and make the holiday beautifully special, even if it’s just for a few people!
