I have two different makeup routines. One is what I wear during the week when I’m working from home and the other is for when I actually go out into public! Today, I wanted to share my quick and easy 5 minute makeup routine that I’ve been doing each weekday morning. My skin is very dry, and I suffer from mild adult acne, so I’ve had to find solutions that moisturize and help prevent breakouts.
Under Eye Concealer
I never wore concealer until a year ago. Why was a living under a concealer free rock? I love this liquid concealer from Tart. I apply it with a foundation brush under my eyes and on my eye lids all the way up to my brows. The coverage is great.
If I had to pick one item on this list, it would be my Pur tinted moisturizer. I use this during the week for a light coverage and to hydrate my skin. If I have a really bad breakout, I’ll just put a tiny bit of concealer over that spot and then brush on my moisturizer over it.
After the tinted moisturizer, I use a huge brush to circle on a little bit of pressed power. The Pur powder has worked really well for my skin and it gives such a nice soft finish. I always powder under my chin and my neck so my face blends in with the rest of my skin.
Bronzer + Blush
I little bronzer and blush on my cheeks is a must! Otherwise, I look a little washed out. I used a pressed powder in month. I apply the bronzer along my cheekbones with a brush, and then finish with a little blush on the apples of my cheeks.
I had no idea I had good eyebrows until my Instagram followers were raving about them. I chalk it up to the fact that a little brow filler goes a long way! I just switched from a gel eyebrow pen to this Urban Decay brow pallet and I am loving it. You apply it with a tiny little brush and it gives your brows a more natural look. I do the darker color on most of my brow and then the lighter color at the start of each brow.
I don’t curl my lashes are have anything done to them so a good mascara is a must. I was using this drug store mascara for awhile, and it’s seriously amazing. One of the best I have ever tried, but I recently started using the Stilla huge mascara and I am a major fan!
Working from home, sometimes I want to stay in my robe all day, but I’ve found that getting dressed and putting on a little makeup helps me feel confident and ready for the day. The great thing about this quick five minute makeup routine is that it’s also super easy to take off at night! I’m calling that a win/win! You can shop all my favorite daily makeup products below.
