Nothing says “spring” quite like sipping a cocktail on your porch and feeling that first hint of sunshine. Well, this year, I’m making mine a mocktail! But the lack of alcohol doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice flavor.
Here are a few delicious spring cocktails (or mocktails!) sure to jazz up your weekend dining routine. They’re perfect for a socially distanced picnic with friends or for a romantic date night at home.
Strawberry Mule Mocktail
- 4 ounces ginger beer
- 2 ounces club soda
- 1 ounces lime juice
- 1 ounce strawberry puree
- lime wedge for garnish
Whether you are pregnant or just choosing not to partake, there are some delicious “mocktails” out there to enjoy. They’re beautiful and impressive when served, plus bursting with delicious flavors. Here are few other delicious recipes to try, sourced from Pinterest.
Grapefruit Thyme Mocktail. This non-alcoholic drink is as fragrant as it is yummy. The little thyme garnish is the perfect springtime touch. Recipe and image via Fruit in the Salad
Golden Glow Water. This recipe serves as tonic and mocktail. It’s actually good for you! The combo of turmeric, cayenne, and honey hits all the right sweet and spicy buttons. Recipe and image via Half-Baked Harvest.
Watermelon Cooler. This one tastes like summertime in a glass. It may still be wintery where you are, but if you are craving summer, grab some watermelon and pour yourself a glass of pink sunshine. Recipe and image via Better Homes & Gardens.
Prefer something with a little more spice? That’s okay! I recently shared a few of my favorite cocktails as well! Whether you prefer bourbon, a spicy marg, or a lip-puckering sour, there’s a little something for everyone!
