This year is different. Not because of the pandemic. Not because I’m becoming a mom. But because I have a new perspective and view on life, love and work. It seems that 2020 taught me to let go a bit. Live more in the moment. Less stress. Less pressure. More living.
I can’t believe my first trimester is coming to a close. I feel SO blessed that this pregnancy has been smooth sailing. I know many women aren’t so lucky. I’ve heard good things about the second trimester, so it’s time to get to work preparing for baby!
I can’t believe we are already waving goodbye to the first trimester! It feels like a lifetime go and just yesterday that we found out we were pregnant all at once. We have had A LOT going on over the past three months.
Is it just me– or are men hard to shop for? If you find yourself in the same last-minute-shopper boat, I’ve put together a few gift guides to help you find the perfect gift for the gents in your life: from the gym buff to the tech nut and every guy in between

It’s so easy to let life take over and lose track of the approaching holidays. I decided to put together four holiday gift guides for busy millennial women to take the stress out of Christmas shopping
October is the perfect month for outdoor hosting. The weather is beautiful — not too hot and not too cold. Fall foliage creates the perfect backdrop. Plus, social distancing can easily be maintained outside in the fresh air.
This year, I partnered with World Market to create a Halloween drink. Thankfully, we don’t have to ward off any ghosts. Instead, we’re welcoming the holiday spirit of fun and mischief with a Halloween-themed bar cart!
I have to be honest, I am not a fan of DIY, but this DIY welcome sign for our front porch was a quick and easy project that turned out so well. I had most of the items needed around the house, but we purchased pre-cut wood and stencils for this project!
With some additional wall cabinets, paint and peel and stick tiles, this space looks like a completely different room. It’s bright and fresh and all of sudden laundry doesn’t seem so bad anymore! HA kidding. But more importantly, this room is now super functional and full of concealed storage.
