Raise your hand if this conversation has occurred in your household:
“Hey honey, what do you want for Christmas this year?”
“Oh I dunno, babe. Whatever’s fine.”
Is it just me… or are men incredibly difficult to shop for? “Whatever’s fine” does not make a Christmas list. I try to keep my eyes peeled throughout the year for items Andrew points out, but somehow when holiday shopping rolls around, I find myself wondering what to buy.
If you find yourself in the same boat, I’ve put together a few gift guides to help you find the perfect gift for the gents in your life. Whether it’s your dad, your partner, or a friend — one of these tried-and-true categories is sure to have that special something that says “I’m so grateful for you.”
For the Great Outdoors Guy
Does your guy love hiking, fishing, or trail running? I’ve curated a few of my favorite outdoorsy items just for him! A headlamp is always useful– even if you’re just walking the dog at night. These La Sportiva hiking boots boast classic design while also being comfortable and durable for hiking. Looking for a tool for a practical guy? A Leatherman multi tool comes in handy every day– whether on the trail or at home!
For the Tech Nut
Looking for a gift for a guy who loves the latest gadgets? Here are a few high-tech holiday finds sure to wow even the most savvy tech nut in your family. The Rocketbook smart journal is great for note-taking and journaling. The Ember mug keeps your coffee or tea at the perfect temperature — because seriously who doesn’t hate an unexpected sip of cold coffee! If you’re looking to spend on an extra-special gift, the Garmin Fenix watch does it all while the DoDow sleep aid helps fight insomnia and fatigue. So cool!
For the At-Home Bartender
It’s no secret Andrew and I love to entertain. Over the years, we’ve amassed several favorite items perfect for an at-home bar. Here I’ve included some of our favorite utensils, as well as a tasty whisky or two! A wine cooler is the perfect gift for an unofficial wine somm, while this gold bar set would impress in at-home bartender. Does your guy prefer whiskey? Consider a monogrammed decanter or a set of whiskey rocks, which cool cocktails without watering them down.
For the Gym Buff
Working out together has always been a big part of my and Andrew’s relationship. We love attending Crossfit together, something we’ve maintained even with my pregnancy. With gym availability being limited this year, some at-home gym equipment is the perfect solution for a fella who loves to work out!
