This “TV room” turned guest bedroom has been through so much, where to even begin? When we first walked through this house and were thinking about purchasing it, this room was being used as a “TV room.” The house has a formal living room, but it was clear this is the room the previous owners hung out in to catch up on their favorite shows.

It’s week two of the One Room Challenge, and we are moving right along on our dark and moody master bedroom transformation. We have a big, blank wall behind our bed and I knew it needed a little extra something. I landed on the idea of DIY board and batten.

I have been putting off the mudroom since we moved in almost two years ago. It’s one of the only rooms in the house that hasn’t been touched what so ever. It’s dirty and grimy and even the light fixture is covered in cobwebs. I can’t believe I’m admitting that to the Internet. The good news, I started scrubbing it down today to prep for paint! I’m going with my tried and true Polar Bear White from Behr Pain.
