Baby Schroeder’s nursery is complete, and it was an absolute labor of love! The very first time we walked through this house, I knew I wanted this tiny, little room to be our nursery.

We are so excited to introduce you to our new home: Dr. Terrell’s House (now Dr. Schroeder’s House) haha! I love to give our homes nicknames, and this house already has a special place in our hearts since it was originally occupied by a family doctor. Now it’s owned by one again!

I’ve always dreamed of having a creative studio. In my head, my workspace features a big collaboration table smack dab in the middle of the room surrounded by storage and organization for all my vintage decor. In the past, we’ve never had the right space to create a work studio. However now that we’ve found our new home, my workspace dreams are going to become a reality!

I am a sucker for Valentine’s Day. Last year, I splurged on a little red dress for our dinner date, and I think it might be a new tradition. It’s the perfect excuse to find something fun and new for your closet.

We bought our dream home and it’s COVERED in wallpaper. Bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, hallways. You name it. It’s wallpapered. I had removed wallpaper in the past and remembered it being horrible, but not this horrible.

Affordable wedding dresses DO exist, and I am going to share with you my secret, Lulus Bridal. I ordered a dress for our courthouse wedding from Lulus for $80.00 and was so impressed. It was super comfortable and fit like a glove! After wearing this dress, I was kicking myself for spending thousands on the gown for our destination wedding.

This year is different. Not because of the pandemic. Not because I’m becoming a mom. But because I have a new perspective and view on life, love and work. It seems that 2020 taught me to let go a bit. Live more in the moment. Less stress. Less pressure. More living.

I can’t believe my first trimester is coming to a close. I feel SO blessed that this pregnancy has been smooth sailing. I know many women aren’t so lucky. I’ve heard good things about the second trimester, so it’s time to get to work preparing for baby!

I can’t believe we are already waving goodbye to the first trimester! It feels like a lifetime go and just yesterday that we found out we were pregnant all at once. We have had A LOT going on over the past three months.
